In 1977, Graham and Liz Hodgson started Hodgson Insurance Services from their kitchen table in the small village of Week St Mary, built on a simple belief: insurance should be about people, not paperwork.
What began by helping friends and local families arrange their car insurance quickly grew through reputation, trust, and word of mouth. As Bude and the surrounding area grew, so did our role within the community — becoming a familiar name for straightforward advice and dependable service.
Today, Gary Hodgson continues the family legacy alongside mum Liz and wife Julie, bringing the same values into the next generation. While the insurance industry has changed dramatically, our commitment remains exactly the same: looking after our clients as people, not policy numbers.
